iMatrix-511 from Nippi, Inc. is the stem cell culture substrate that produces optimal results for Quick-Tissue™ Series. iMatrix-511 is a replacement for animal-derived extra cellular matrix substrates, and is meant for use in xeno-free and feeder-free culture systems for human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). The original creators of the technology (paper cited in “References”) found that iMatrix-511 supported strong adhesion to hESCs and hiPSCs, long-term self-renewal, and rapid expansion of dissociated hiPSCs.
